The spaces between rooms are the ones most interiors forget. This passage was treated as a room in its own right — lit, furnished and finished to the same standard as the living spaces it connects.

In the film

• Track lighting that washes the walls rather than the floor
• Framed artwork placed at eye level along the route
• Large planters to break up the length of the passage
• Light stone flooring continuous with the adjoining rooms

How we work

Passages are lit and detailed at the same time as the rooms on either side, so the flooring and finishes run straight through and the route reads as part of the home rather than leftover space. More on home interior design in nagpur.
