We work from the site outwards: how the plot faces, where the light and wind come from, what the bye-laws allow, and how the family or business will use the building in ten years. The elevation is the result of that, not the start of it.

Building on a plot in Nagpur
Orientation matters more here than in most cities. In Nagpur’s heat, a building whose long walls face west fights its own air conditioning for decades, while one that faces north and south with shaded openings stays noticeably cooler.
What you can build depends on where the plot sits and which authority governs it. Permissible built-up area, setbacks and height all follow from that, so we read those rules before sketching — the concept you fall for should be one that can actually be sanctioned.
As an architecture firm we carry the design through construction rather than handing over drawings and walking away. The elevation you approve is the one we check the building against on site.

Do you provide drawings for municipal approval?
We prepare the architectural drawings for submission and coordinate with your licensed engineer or liaison consultant for the sanction process, which in Nagpur runs through NMC/NIT depending on the location.
Do you work with our structural engineer?
Yes. We coordinate the architectural set with your structural and MEP consultants, or introduce consultants we work with regularly if you do not have one.
Can you design just the elevation?
Yes, though we will usually ask to see the plans first — an elevation detached from the plan behind it tends to create problems during construction.
How involved are you during construction?
As involved as the appointment says. We offer periodic site visits with written reports, or full construction administration with purchase tracking and vendor coordination.
